WALKWAY PROVOCATIONS
Wagner Park, Rockefeller Park handball court,
Battery Park City Ball Fields (West Street)
Reflect on questions and prompts on walkways and walls in three key locations within Battery Park City’s 92 acres.

CONVERSATIONS
11am-2pm + 4-7pm (except 9/23 4-6:30pm)
at the Walkway Provocations
Speak with project conversationalists about the changing landscape and climate in Battery Park City and beyond.

FLOODGATE RITUAL

Meet at Wagner Park Pavilion
Participate in a community ritual to practice raising one of Battery Park City’s new floodgates.

ARTIST TALK & PANEL followed by VIDEO PROJECTION
7-8pm, video until 10pm
Wagner Park Pavilion Classroom, 20 Battery Place
After the floodgate ritual, artist Sarah Cameron Sunde will share her work and lead a dialogue with Una Chaudhuri, Tom Finkelpearl, and Catherine Seavitt about the role of public art, ritual, and listening in preparing for extreme weather, and how these practices can reveal invisible architecture around us. Stay afterwards to view video projection of Sunde’s 36.5 / A Durational
Performance with the Sea on the walls of Wagner Pavilion.
